It has been reported in an Italian car site Infomotori, that Alfa Romeo is gearing up to launch a special edition of their 147 compact hatch, which will be developed by the collective efforts from Ducati Corse.

The all new 147 Ducati corse will come with an enhanced 1.9 turbo-diesel engine enabling it to produce a marginal 20hp more power taking the maximum to 170 hp. These extra horses will be available on a switch command which is available at the center console.

In addition, it will be coming with an aggressive body kit, a sporty trim and 18-inch alloy wheels. For a little peculiarity, The Ducati Corse edition will also feature Alfa Romeo’s ‘Q2′ limited slip.
