Architects propose biofuel producing BioOctanic Tower atop gas stations
Harshpaul | Oct 23 2009

Croatian architects UPI-2M have an interesting proposal for sustainable and environmentally friendly biofuel production. The BioOctanic tower as it is called, appears as a high tower placed over gas stations. This tower will be capable of producing biofuel and city air recuperation. These BioOctanic towers will be vertical farms and biofuel factories placed atop existing gas stations.

Fuel created in these towers would be directly dispensed to cars in the gas station. This obviously has a number of advantages like savings in transportation costs, agricultural land, and a non-weather dependant structure, all this in addition to the conventional benefits biofuels offer.
