Can Am Spyder: Sizzling Roadster with Unique Y-Design!
Sameer Kumar | Sep 4 2008

They call this the generation-Y and the Can Am Spyder seems to be perfect match for it. This is one of the more unique bike designs you will find as it is a three-wheeler which is unlike a trike. The traditional designs have two wheels at the back and one in the front. But the brand new Spyder defies those conventions and defines new design norms with two wheels in the front and one at the back.

Spyder is built around a Surrounding Spar Technology (SST) frame giving the bike its unique stability and special design. This makes the bike light, slim and easy to handle without compromising on its strength and balance. While the 990 cc V-Twin engine gives it all the power it needs, the aerodynamic sleek design helps it breeze away on the turf.

The most unique part of the Spyder seems to be its Electronic Control Unit System which monitors various functions ranging from wheel slippage to digitally encoded security information. The Spyder surely seems like a bike of the future and while it stands apart for the trikes, the whole new one Y-architecture gives it a dimension that puts it on a pedestal of its own. While the stability will be known only in a drive test, it looks pretty good for now.
