The Cargonaut is the cargo hauler of the future. Designer Matthias Schmiedbauer envisions a robotic hauler to take care of your shopping, in the year 2026. Robot cargonaut will take care of the shopping bags, groceries and luggage, and fly them to the desired destination within minutes.
While we’re all praises towards the idea of a flying robot swooping on to luggage to carry it to the destination, we can’t really comprehend why we wouldn’t do all that stuff like we do it now; put it in a car, take it home. And we hope by 2026 we’ll have flying cars to make all that stuff a lot easier and fun, then maybe a robot can take all the luggage and groceries out of the car and into the house. Robot cargo transporters, even though they may have some uses, don’t exactly ring a bell.
