Staff | Dec 3 2005

Citroen has unveiled its premier two-seater concept car, the C-AirPlay at the opening of the Bologna Motor Show. The car has been masterminded award-winning British car designer, Mark Lloyd. The futuristic car features a bold and dynamic exterior look.

The C-AirPlay has outstanding designs, including ‘portholes’ in the lower section of the doors to give an increasing sensation of speed. Touch-sensitive control for the gears, electric windows and rearview mirror are moulded into the single-piece silicone front seat. The steering wheel incorporates two spherical driver information displays.

C-AirPlay is the result of groping study in creative design and in-depth research in driving pleasure. The clean body lines and curved body features create an impression of suppleness. The sparkling white colour gives the whole car light.

C-AirPlay is equipped with a 110 bhp petrol engine. A SensoDrive automated gearbox creates dynamic sensations while driving. The car uses Stop & Start technology for low fuel consumption and emission levels.
