Design Challenge Robocar 2057: Toyota Biomobile Mecha
Munish | Oct 15 2007

When the space on ground is so limited that the vehicles will have to take or explore vertical spaces. There will only be one mode for transportation that will take the meaning to a whole new horizon of innovation and technology, Toyota Biomobile Mecha.

This is an innovative solution proposed under biomimicry which derives its inspiration from various life forms found in nature. It will also be one big name in the fight against pollution as it will get its power supply from pollutants it will feature a unique capability which extracts pollutants from air and utilizes it as an energy source restoring the lost balance in the atmosphere.

The vehicle features some dynamic driving instincts and comes with structural adaptations that will accommodate the users need for space. It will automatically adapt with the driving environment with its four nano-laser wheels.

The Nanotechnology will enable the vehicle to expand and contract horizontally and vertically to serve as a compact commuter, an aerodynamic performance vehicle and a temporary dwelling.
Design team for the Biomobile Mecha includes Yo Hiruta, Kevin Hunter, Edward Lee and Erwin Lui.
