The Beast: Higgins-Aube Inc, a Canadian company has created the Energya, a three-wheeled vehicle. It is a light vehicle but delivers high performance. The vehicle has its engine at the rear and the whole feel is like a racecar. The car even looks and feels like a racecar when you drive it. The innovative three-wheeler looks awesome, feels awesome and drives awesome. It even has supportive seats, which are also very similar to racecars.
The Machine: The Energya has two wheels in the front and one at the back that makes it very balanced. The half-doors provide access to the cockpit and also provide side-impact protection. The car is very lightweight and is meant to achieve 0-100kmph in 4 seconds, and has a lateral acceleration in excess of 1 G. The engine is designed to possess nearly 200hp and weigh 350kg.
The Thrill: This is an electric car and hence, is a very green vehicle. This could set the ground for future racecars that are green in nature. However, since it is a three-wheeled vehicle, it can also be manufactured to a wide audience. It is expected to arrive in the markets within 18 months.
