The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum has a design for a very unique flying machine that is probably the most energy efficient way to fly. Aircraft modelered Frank Ehling created these fly powered aircrafts in the 1970s, and we believe this lets those pesky flies finally do something worthwhile. Before you foray into making these aircrafts, remember that PETA wouldn’t like the idea, however, Obama the fly-swatter would approve. Video after the jump.
