H Car concept runs on electricity and hydrogen, harvests wind power
Harshpaul | Jul 24 2009

The “H Car” is a futuristic concept from Thomas Pastor. It draws inspiration from varied sources, ranging from flying saucers to retro cars. The family car for the fictional “MEGALOPOLIS” city and integrates the features of a sports car with limousine luxury. This zero emission concept is powered by electric batteries and hydrogen cells.

Wheels on the concept take on an additional role as well. Its wheels are hidden for better air penetration, and are integrated with blades that could make them function like mini wind-mills. The blades are rotated by the wind as it passes the moving car, and these in turn could be used as an auxiliary power source.

[Thanks, Thomas]
