Hyundai's BLUE-WILL takes eco-friendliness to the next level!

BLUE-WILL be the new green! Well, one couldn’t resist the temptation to read the product the way it is being marketed. Yes, Hyundai’s new ‘green’ car is the BLUE-WILL, which is a gasoline-electric hybrid. At the heart of this machine is a 1.6ltr direct injection powerhouse coupled with lithium-Ion batteries positioned conveniently below the rear seat. It doesn’t end there. Dye-sensitized solar cells lined up on the roof offer a power boost whenever required. The new-age design of the BLUE-WILL needs no advocacy but it has to be mentioned that the Korean giant is taking its concept of eco-friendliness quite seriously. Nothing better explains it than the headlamp bezels fabricated with recycled plastic bottles and the generous dose of bioplastics in the interior. Planet Earth will share the wide-mouthed grin conspicuously visible at the front-end of this slick machine.
