The Ironcat concept is a car that would be pretty and sort of cute if it was not fuelled by monstrous power. That does not mean it looks bad, but considering that it is powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.6-l V8, we don’t think words like cute would go with such a powerhouse. Designer Wyatt Turner’s concept aims to be a “closed-canopy Le-Mans racecar for the road.”
Design inspiration for the car comes mainly from the Porsche Carrera GT, though many other cars have influenced the result as well. The Ironcat is built on a carbon monocoque chassis, and has large wheels to handle all the power and speed the concept was created to display.
