Lamborghini Embolado: The 'bull in balls'
Parul | Oct 9 2007

Luca Serafini, a final year student of the Industrial Design Course at the University of Parma, Italy has created a brilliant design which he calls Lamborghini Embolado. He dreams about working for Lamborghini, no wonder his design speaks of sports car character you’ll find in a lambo.

As the designer explains, the idea of the Embolado came from the Spanish festival Toro Embolado, meaning ‘bull in balls’, an event where balls of flammable material are attached to the horns of a bull and lit on fire. The bull is then set free in the streets at night.

Serafini enlightens:

The choice of the name was the first step towards the creation of this concept. Based on the Gallardo dimensions, I started to define the main lines in a very marked and steady way, giving the front end taurin forms.

Based on the ‘aggressivity’ theme, the movement of the side surfaces gives the car a natural sleek facade. The designer has adapted the Embolado Concept based on the aesthetic modifications of the new model, with some post-process in Photoshop, in order to make a tribute to the Gallardo Superleggera.

The design was created using Rhino, 3D Studio MAX and a bit of Photoshop.

We appreciate his design and he will be our Auto Ninja for the week starting Monday, 22nd October.
