Mercedes SLS AMG thinks Gullwings are real wings, goes 42 meters in the air
Harshpaul | Oct 8 2009

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG looks like a car that could take flight, and its gullwing doors add nicely to the stance, but we don’t really think that the SLS AMG would be able to fly, even though it is powered by a mighty 571hp V8. Well, the car did take flight, and perched itself at the top of the 42-meters high roof terrace of the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, Germany. Oh, and did we mention that a hydraulic crane did all the lifting? The car will be on display at the museum’s roof terrace till October 16.
