The Beast: Nissan Robot Car crash avoidance vehicle was launched recently and looks like it is going to be one hell of a vehicle. The car is equipped with a Laser Range Finder, which detects obstacles two meters away and avoids collisions.

The Machine:
The Nissan Robot car comes with an awesome crash-avoidance technology and ahs been inspired by the bumblebee. The car has been materialized thanks to a joint research conducted with Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology at Japan’s prestigious University of Tokyo.

The Thrill: The car concept guys are also working on a ‘Safety Shield’, which may help people in protecting themselves against head-on collisions, and reduce fatalities on the road. The LRF detects obstacles, and sends a signal to an on-board microprocessor and that is translated into crash avoidance.
