It’s been a long time since Blu-ray won the HD wars, and its arrival for in-car system was expected. Panasonic turned out to be the first company to offer an in-car Blu-ray player with the unveiling of CY-BB1000D, the first in-dash Blu-ray player. It’s not just a plain old player, it boasts other features like GPS, Bluetooth, a 40GB HDD, 1seg TV tuner, and a 7-inch HD screen. The player is scheduled to reach the markets later this year.
