Porsche announces price hike on all models from August
Vishal | May 18 2007

This is a bad news for those who are planning to buy a Porsche as the company has announced a price hike in all its models except the base Cayman and all Cayenne models.

The price will be raised variedly depending upon the models as it is expected that we may see a hike of 2.3% in the price of top-of-the-line 911 Turbo and in other models the increase will range from .4% for the Boxster S and Cayman S up to 1.5% for 911 variants. This decision of the company will make no effect on the sales of the company and even the profit margin of the company will suffer no harm as Porsche is the world’s most profitable automaker. However it is suspected that the reason behind such announcement is the decrease in value of dollar as compared to Euro.

Whatever the reason may be but such an announcement will effect the customer largely?
