Now this seems all suitable and convenient, after spending a lifetime running on the roads, retired buses can still sit on the sides of the roads and act as bus shelters. Artist Christopher Fennell has created one such bus shelter in Atlanta using exteriors from three decommissioned school buses, the seating inside comes from an old city bus.
