In a few months, we’ve seen a whole lot of Segway knockoffs that follow the personal transport rather closely, but add a bit of change, perhaps to lower costs. The Cool Rider is basically one big wheel with electric motors and other associated gadgetry slapped into it, and there’s a protruding rod that the rider can hold. Apparently, you get to select standing on a wheeled platform, or just wear skates while the Cool Rider pulls you with a top speed of 12mph, which will likely make you proud of having shelled $1250 on this thing.
