Success Beckoning: Fiat 500 Winning Hearts and Awards
Munish | Oct 23 2007

Fiat 500 has mesmerized the British by its spell; critics took it with a great eclat and the people just can’t resist falling in love with this car. For ages we haven’t had car to the rival the likes of Smart or the Mini, but now we have a challenger for sure.

Fiat 500 has had success which could even put a Balboa to shame for such has been the speed with which the car has gained popularity and ever since it came into fray, awards have been thronging its pergola.

The latest addition is the Best small car award given by UK’s Popular TV Series fifth Gear and to be minimalistically critical it deserves the appreciation. MD of Fiat Group Automobiles UK, Giulio Salomone whilst accepting this award at Fiat’s UK Headquarters cited:

We are absolutely delighted with this great honour. Clearly the British public like what they see in our new 500 - already more than 5,000 have expressed an interest in ordering one - and it’s fantastic to see that motoring experts such as those working on Fifth Gear agree.

Ask me the credentials which got the Super Mini the award you would find me rhyming with the presenters of the show with style, handling, performance and build quality.

It is important to mention here that it had been declared the safest cars available in Europe (in the recent Euro NCAP five star crash safety ratings) and now the car has made it to the highly acclaimed Best small car of the year award from Fifth Gear. With such accolades in the baggage, the future of this car beckons of a monstrous success.
