The Beast:
Venturi’s newest release namely the Volage is said to go on display at the Paris Motor Show this week. The new car is a perfect hi-tech automobile for the digital age and a joint venture between Venturi Automobiles and Michelin.
The Machine:
The car has eight electric motors and can accelerate to 62mph from rest in five seconds. The new feature utilizes two independent motors in each wheel, one to transmit power to the ground and the other to control the electronic suspension and braking system. The dashboard also features a touchscreen that allows the driver to select settings that sway in speed to extend the car’s polymer lithium batteries.
The Thrill:
Volage will be assembled by hand in a limited production run. No price has been quoted yet, but if you have enough money and patience then go for it!
