The Toyota iQ is premiered in Geneva
David | Mar 4 2008

Could this be the car that launches Toyota back into the small car leadership lead or will it bomb and disappear without in a few years time? Well clearly this is not going to disappear, but then again it may not hit the big time either, which is a bit of problem for the iQ.

Its only competitor would appear to be the Smart Fortwo, which has had plenty of time to carve out a nice niche in the small city car market. There is a choice of two petrol and one diesel engine, but for some strange reason Toyota have forgotten to tell us about the power options, which is a bit of shame really, but we must not forget this car did start life off as a concept car in Frankfurt last year, so maybe the details will follow on later.
