Toyota A-Bat Concept: Pick-Up with a difference

This one has to go down as the perfect commuter for someone who travels through those tough sub-urban roads into the city for daily chores and drives back home with loads and loads of luggage. The definition of Pick-Ups has to go through a reform when we talk about the A-Bat Concept from Toyota.

It would be there at Toyota’s Camp at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show and had I been there, this one would have been the first vehicle I would have gone looking for. Pick-Up to the chore at the exterior and totally at odds with a Pick-Up in the interior as though the Pimp My Ride guys gave it a real tuning tweak.

The Image would have given you quite an idea about the unique call it tailgate bed the A-Gate comes with. 4 metres in length and pull down the rear seats the entire stretch stands at 6 metres add that to a movable panel at the top and it makes for one hell of a towing space.

Well, did I miss something, I would rue the fact of not mentioning the word Hybrid in the beginning which then calls for impeccable fuel-economy and a pleasing green experience with solar panels on the roof to complete that coveted identity.

The interior comes enabled with Wi-Fi connectivity and a hard drive to have you play your favourite tracks. An AC/DC battery makes sure that you can plug in everything from a gadgetry contingent. It surely is the next evolution of a compact truck.
