Wooden race cars modeled with astonishing precision
Sukhmani | Nov 25 2009

It is customary to find craftsperson selling rough and ready replicas of almost every vehicle driven on wheels from cars to trucks and airplanes. However, very few would take their art work passionately to derive pleasure and not subsistence. Fewer still under the influence of their animated indulgence elevate their artwork to heights which efface the distinction between them and their produce. Gary Tatman, a mill worker by trade has rightly proven that by carving amazing replicas of different car models from simple wood otherwise destined for trash.

What leaves you spell bound is the mindboggling precision that lends real existence to the models.

His astonishing collection includes the Lotus 33b, Porsche 917 K, the Ford GT40 and the Tyrrell P-34.
