Adhering to the customer demands for a greater power and performance, Porsche has released pictures of its new 911 Turbo S ahead of its world debut in Geneva.

In its release the company boasts it to be the most efficient sports car in its performance class. This car returns 24.8 mpg (11.4 l/ 100 km) combined which is identical to its little brother, Porsche 911 Turbo.

A highly tuned version of 911 Turbo, Porsche 911 Turbo S flaunts 30 additional Horse power taking the tally to 530, a maximum speed of 315km/h and can race from 0-100km/h in just 3.3 seconds.

And this top model that has many of the optional features on the 911 Turbo as standard include a Launch Control acceleration assistance, seven-speed gearbox and Porsche Vehicle Tracking anti-theft system.

The model will on sale from May 2010 and is priced from £123,263 in Coupe body-style and from £130,791 as a Cabriolet.

Ford is coming to Chicago Motor show with all its pomp and show. The carmaker is eying to rule the roost with its 2011 Ford Shelby GT500 which is an overhaul of the last years GT500.

With more power, new performance upgrades, and comparatively less weighty engine for 2011, Ford is all set to put a firm challenge to Dodge Challenger SRT8 and Chevrolet Corvette.

Ford’s overhaul for the 2011 Ford Shelby GT500 include a new aluminum engine construction that reduces 100 pounds of weight against its 2010 GT500s iron-block supercharged V-8 and Shelby is expected to earn an EPA rating of 15 and 23mpg for city and highway respectively which is, again, up from last year’s 14 and 22mpg.

Also, 2011 Shelby has a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine which is, as Ford says, an evolution of the engine from the departed Ford GT. And the improved exhaust flow adds 10hp more to a total of 550hp at 6,200 rpm. Torque remains the same, with 510 pounds-feet on tap at 4,500 rpm.

Other changes in the new version are a new electric power steering to last year’s hydraulic steering that help save fuel efficiency, as there’s no more hydraulic steering pump dragging on the engine, Nineteen-inch wheels and xenon headlights that were previously optional are now standard.

Ford will be available as a coupe or convertible, and will go on sale in spring. There is no word on the pricing but the care is expected to start from somewhere near to the 2010 model’s $46,725 base sticker.

The museum that is only of its genre in the world, documents a single continuous timeline of over 120 years of Mercedes-Benz’s auto industry history. It has 160 vehicles and over 1,500 exhibits on nine different levels, covering a floor space of 16,500. The museum not only presents the fascinating history of the Mercedes-Benz brand, but also illuminates insights into the future.

The museum is designed by the UN Studio of Dutch architects van Berkel and Bos, Amsterdam, and the inspiration for the building’s interior styling comes from double helix structure of the DNA spiral that carries the human genome.

Jeep Pygmy concept, the outcome of the project Basil Kurkova, has been recognized as one of two best works of the students of the Italian IED. Not only this but it will be presented at the Geneva Motor show this year and there are firm expectations (but you never know) that it’ll form the basis of a real car.

This concept is the vision of the future and the evolution of the real relationship between the two historic brands: FIAT and Chrysler. Jeep Pygmy of Vasily Kourkoff is based on the platform of the Fiat Panda Cross 4×4 vehicle and is deeply a European character imbued with the spirit of the American culture that deeply adores jeep.

Further, the two seater jeep is designed to offer different possibilities, style and characterization as per the customer requirements. And as a result, it can be transformed into a car for shopping or sports, or even a rally jeep.

The design of this above pictured bike begins from the V7 Café Classic. Luca Bar, the designer, has added a second brake at the front, longer shocks at back and a half fairing to give an extra racing feeling.
